In this year of new beginnings, the Lord reminded me this morning during prayer of the revelation He gave me out of Jeremiah 1:10-12.
NKJV Version
9Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. 10See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”
11Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”
12Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”
We see in verse 10, God was explaining to Jeremiah how He was going to use him to execute His judgment on the earth. Before there can ever be a building or planting, there must be an uprooting by God. We see this everyday on a construction site. Before the new carpet is laid and lumber is connected together to make a frame, the trucks are turning over dirt to expose the things that are hidden that will cause harm or future damage to the new building. In verse 11, the question to Jeremiah was a very powerful one but also important. Here he saw an almond tree that blossomed while the other trees were dormant. The word tree in the Hebrew means (to wake, watch, to keep watch of, be alert). The meaning of this was that God was ready to release or perform His word of judgment on Israel. God told Jeremiah, you have seen well. The judgment of God has blossomed. Judgment means in the Hebrew (to judge, govern, vindicate, punish, to rule, to act as law-giver, to decide controversy of man, avenged, defend). You see, just like the almond tree blossoming before it’s time, God’s judgment has come at a time when the people have not expected. In our natural minds we say, “God won’t judge now, it’s a time of blessing”.
This is why the question to Jeremiah was important because as a prophet of God, He could not be detoured by the opinions of others because of their deafness and blindness to word of God. So God had to test him. God was also saying here that not only do I want you to see that this almond tree has blossomed but I want you to see and know the timing. I am ready says God to perform my word. Jeremiah couldn’t let anyone tell him that God was going to do this at another time, why, because he saw it with his own eyes. As we go through this year, we are going to see God performing His word. God does not want us to be afraid. These things must take place. Remember Psalm 91:7-8 says:
NKJV Version
7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
This year is not only the beginning of the abundance of wealth, prosperity, and blessings but also the year that God shall exalt one (ministries, business, people, etc…) and bring another down.
James 4:10 NAS
Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. Isaiah 2:12 NKJV For the day of the LORD of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up– And it shall be brought low.
God is exalting or raising up those who are humble and bringing low those who are proud. He is also judging everything that has brought harm to his precious possession.
Zechariah 2:8-9 NKJV Version
8“After a period of glory, the LORD Almighty sent me against the nations who oppressed you. For he said, ‘Anyone who harms you harms my most precious possession. 9I will raise my fist to crush them, and their own slaves will plunder them.’ Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me.”
He is also giving us the land as an inheritance. Where there has been evil practices going on, God is rooting them out to give us the land. I see by the spirit right now stores, music studios, church buildings, and companies being rooted out because there have been sacrificial worship to many gods.
Joshua 1:10-11
10Joshua then commanded the leaders of Israel, 11“Go through the camp and tell the people to get their provisions ready. In three days you will cross the Jordan River and take possession of the land (Canaan) the LORD your God has given you.” Do not be surprised when you see even ministries being rooted out of buildings because of the evil practices not just behind the scenes but also out in the open. I also see secular and christian programs/networks being rooted out. Especially the christian/church because the bible says in 1 Peter 4:7: NLT
17For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin first among God’s own children. And if even we Christians must be judged, what terrible fate awaits those who have never believed God’s Good News?
In closing let us stay humble and pray for those who have refused to hear the voice of God, that they may return to the heart of repentance.
Psalm 51:17
The sacrifice you want is a broken spirit. A broken and repentant heart, O God, you will not despise.
While working as an auditor, one of the things I’ve discovered is that most theft happens internally than externally. Who are these people and why do they do it? Here are just a couple reasons I think we should look at:
1. You have the employees who are mad at their manager for whatever reason.
2. Then you have those who smile in the managers’ face. They will even go the extra mile so that they can gain the managers’ trust while secretly waiting for the opportunity to do the evil that is in their hearts.
Let’s read and discuss about a man in the bible who was an internal thief.
Matthew 26:6-16 (NLT)
What a story! We see here Matthew never pointed out directly who made such a comment to towards this woman but John made it very clear who it was, Judas Iscariot. What do we know about Judas?
- He was a betrayer
- He was a thief
- He had his own agenda
- He cared nothing about the people of God
- He was indignant of true worship
- He was remorseful for what he did but never repented
- He was a leader.
Let me explain number five. The bible says that when Mary began to wipe the feet of Jesus, the house was filled with the fragrance. See the fragrance was her worship. Now the question is why would Judas make that comment then? You see, Judas was in the midst of the fragrance of true worship which will always get Jesus attention. To Mary, Jesus was her everything but to Judas He was his ticket to getting what he wanted. This type of worship Mary released stopped the costly perfume from getting into the hands of a thief who had his own agenda. That’s the reason why he was so indignant with Mary because her worship stopped his agenda or plans, which lead him to resort to other means of fulfilling his desires by making a deal with the leading priests.
I encourage every Pastor to lead you people in this type of worship. Break the flask of oil and let the fragrance of your worship fill the house. Don’t let this spirit get its hands on this precious perfume.
The last thing we know about Judas was that he was a leader. I sensed in my spirit to list this as number seven because in this year of 2007, the Lord will expose the Judas spirit that is in operation in leadership.
Matthew 13:18-19 (NLT) – “I am not saying these things to all of you; I know so well each one of you I chose. The Scriptures declare, ‘The one who shares my food has turned against me,’ and this will soon come true. I tell you this now, so that when it happens, you will believe I am the Messiah.
No, it is not the sheep but the leader. Remember, Judas was a leader.
Acts 1:16-17 (NLT)
Yes leaders are sheep as well but they are appointed to lead and be an example. The sheep will only do what they see the leaders doing.
Pastors, I encourage you to watch and pray during this hour. This spirit is influencing the very person/persons in leadership that you least expect. Please don’t be discouraged when this happens.
God must do this because he is ceasing the activity of this spirit and giving the leader/leaders the opportunity to move from remorse to repentance.
As God reveals, it is imperative that you don’t get into what the Lord showed me last year, spiritual denial. I can’t even begin to tell you the many managers we have advised about watching their employees. The sad part is that we get the same response, “Oh, it’s not my people!” “I have some great people who been here for a long time.” As I said above it was the person they least expected to be. When I seen and heard this, the Lord prompted me to release this so that his people would not walk blind.
In closing, I also encourage you not judge anything before it’s time. Wait on the Lord. I release this word not to get you paranoid, but that you would watch and pray.
1 Corinthians 4:5 (NLT)
So be careful not to jump to conclusions before the Lord returns as to whether or not someone is faithful. When the Lord comes, he will bring our deepest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. And then God will give to everyone whatever praise is due.
Father I pray in the name of Jesus, I pray that Your will be done in this hour. Let not your pastor be discourage during the time of exposing but let them be encouraged in knowing that you are looking out for them and that you are fulfilling your promise over them that You would never leave nor forsake them. I pray for those leaders who are influenced by this spirit. May the plotting, scheming, theft, sabotage, and wrong motives cease in the name of Jesus. I speak freedom now to their lives in Jesus name. Finally Father, I pray that they would now rise up and repentance while your mercy is ever present in Jesus name, Amen!
Hello Everyone,
- the name is transferred to false teachers, who do not care to instruct men, but abuse their confidence for their own gain , pilferer
God says that there are those in the house of the Lord who are influenced by this spirit. Using their mouths to deliberately sow seeds that turn into weeds. You may say well, how are they killing and destroying. God says that they are trying kill and destroy your reputation. The bible says in Matt 13:27, the farmer servants said to him that the place where you sowed is full of weeds. This verse in the New American Standard bible says
The bible says in Matt 13: 28-30, the servants ask should the weeds be pulled up but the farmer said, not until the harvest.
There is a spiritual audit coming to the body of Christ. Webster dictionary defines audit as a formal examination of an organization’s or individual’s accounts or financial situation, a methodical examination and review, and the final report of an audit. The Bible says in Luke 12:2 “For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known”. This message especially goes out to every pastor and leader, please get your house (church, home, and yourself) in order. Please pass this on and not disregard.Psalm 95:7-11:
For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice: “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness, When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work. For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, “It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways. So I swore in My wrath, “They shall not enter My rest.”The Bible makes it very clear that we must not harden our hearts. I felt a release from the Lord to share this and there is more, but I will wait until I get a release from God to share the rest. I love you all and praying for you as well. Let’s continue to grow in Him!
