Brian was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and is the sixth of seven children. His parents Robert Pruitt Sr. and Barbara Blair pastored Bethel Temple Church of Christ Holiness USA. Brian was saved through their ministry and was baptized by his dad. He began to sense the call of God on his life during his teenage years and accepted the call to the ministry on January 11, 1998 in Mackenbach, Germany at the age of 21.  Brian served as a worship leader for seven years at Refreshing Waters Worship Center in Kansas City, MO.

Shanika was born in Mound Bayou, Mississippi and is the oldest of three children. Her parents James and Janice Burns, poured the word of God into Shanika which opened her heart to receiving Jesus into her life as a teenager. Shanika has walked as a leader through out her life and carries the gift of wisdom. She also has many accomplishments educationally as well.

On December 14, 2004, the Lord allowed Brian and Shanika’s paths to cross and on December 15, 2005 they became one. In 2007 Brian and Shanika moved to Columbus, Ohio on a word they received from the Lord. This move of faith was a Abraham and Sarah experience where God began revealing His plan for their lives. On December 31, 2007, Brian and Shanika were ordained by Apostles CJ and Lanita Gaul by the leading of the Holy Spirit at Living Word Worship Center. They serve as the Prophets of the house, Associate Pastors, and Youth Pastors.

Brian and Shanika Pruitt are international speakers walking in the gifts of God and the Office of a Prophet and Prophetess. Their mission is to set people free from sickness, disease, torments of all kind, religion, and bringing salvation to the lost. Signs, wonders, and miracles do follow them as well. Brian also has a radical prophetic worship style that releases the Glory of God and has written over 30 songs that are soon to be published. Shanika is an awesome prophetic teacher who has the gift of releasing the practicality of the word of God.

They have two beautiful children, a son Marquis and a daughter Donnika.
